La Casita del Pescador

La Casita del Pescador es una pequeña construcción de “capricho” en la zona norte del Parque del Retiro de Madrid. Durante bastante años estuvo cerrada y sin uso, pero hace relativamente poco se ha reutilizado como una de las oficinas de información turística del Parque.

Fue mandada construir por el rey Fernando VII en lo que fueron los jardines reales del Buen Retiro.Es de estilo pompepayo y esta redeada de un lago que era donde los nobles solían ir a pescar y el rey a descansar, es todo un capricho en serio.

La Casita del Pescador is a small "capricho" building in the northern part of the Retiro Park in Madrid. For many years it was closed and unused, but relatively recently it has been reused as one of the tourist information offices of the Park.

It was built by King Ferdinand VII in what were the royal gardens of the Buen Retiro.It is a pompous style and this redeveloped a lake that was where the nobles used to go fishing and the king to rest, it's all a fad in earnest .
