San Francisco El Grande

 La Real Basílica de San Francisco el Grande, oficialmente Basílica de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles, es una iglesia católica en Madrid, en el barrio de Palacio, dentro del casco histórico de la capital de España. Preside la cara occidental de la plaza de San Francisco, configurada por la intersección de la calle Bailén y la Carrera de San Francisco. Forma parte del convento franciscano de Jesús y María, fundado a principios del siglo XIII, sobre una desaparecida ermita dedicada a santa María.

The Royal Basilica of San Francisco el Grande, officially Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels, is a Catholic church in Madrid, in the Palacio neighborhood, within the historic center of the capital of Spain. It presides over the western face of the Plaza de San Francisco, configured by the intersection of Calle Bailén and Carrera de San Francisco. It is part of the Franciscan convent of Jesus and Mary, founded at the beginning of the 13th century, on a defunct hermitage dedicated to Saint Mary.

 No, no existe un valle que se llame Madrid, pero es lo que a mí me lo parece, cuando subo a la zona alta de la ciudad donde vivo y observo el skyline de Madrid. Impresionan las figuras de las Cuatro Torres destacando sobre el resto de la ciudad. Me gusta Madrid. Y estoy orgulloso de ser madrileño.
