La Plaza de España de "mi pueblo"


La plaza de España de Madrid es una amplio espacio ajardinado en el casco histórico de la ciudad, en cuyo centro se encuentra una fuente monumental dedicada a Miguel de Cervantes. Hace de eje continuador uniendo la Gran Vía con la calle de la Princesa. Hasta poco antes de la construcción de la Gran Vía esta plaza se denominaba Plaza de San Marcial. Destacan, por su altura, dos edificios de hormigón, la Torre de Madrid (1957) y el Edificio España (1953), además de un exponente del modernismo madrileño: la Casa Gallardo y el Edificio de la Compañía Asturiana de Minas, sede de la Consejería de Cultura.

The Plaza de España in Madrid is a large garden area in the historic center of the city, in the center of which is a monumental fountain dedicated to Miguel de Cervantes. It is a continuation axis linking the Gran Via with the Calle de la Princesa. Until shortly before the construction of the Gran Vía this square was called Plaza de San Marcial. Mantra Hare Krishna


El mantra Hare Krishna, también conocido reverencialmente como Majá Mantra (Gran Oración), es un mantra krisnaísta de 16 palabras que es mencionado por primera vez en la Kali-santarana upanishad (inmediatamente anterior al siglo XVI d. C.), y que desde el siglo XVI fue difundido por el movimiento bhakti (‘devoción [a Krishná]’) siguiendo las enseñanzas del santón bengalí Chaitania (1486-1534).

Desde los años sesenta, el mantra se hizo muy conocido fuera de la India gracias a Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (1896-1977), fundador de los hare krishna. Los devotos de Krishná fueron reconocidos hasta principios del siglo XXI por cantar el mantra Hare Krishna y bailar por las calles de todas las ciudades importantes del mundo con mridangas (tambores) y pequeños kártalos (crótalos o platillos de mano).

El mantra se debe repetir innumerables veces, ya sea cantado en voz muy alta (kírtan), cantado en voz baja (bhayan) o recitado en voz baja (yapa) o en voz mental.

Los hare krishna tienen la orden de recitar diariamente el majá mantra completo durante 16 vueltas de su rosario (yapa mala) de 108 cuentas (o sea que lo dicen 1728 veces diarias). A grandísima velocidad, logran hacerlo en una hora y media (3 segundos por cada mantra completo).

Plaza de Callao


La plaza del Callao está situada en el barrio de la Puerta del Sol del distrito Centro de Madrid. Localizada al final de la Calle del Carmen, divide en dos tramos la calle Preciados y da comienzo al tercero de la Gran Vía que acaba en la Plaza de España. La plaza del Callao, al igual que el segundo tramo de la Gran Vía que finaliza en ella, fue construida entre los años 1917 y 1922, aunque la entrega definitiva de obras no se hizo hasta 1927.

The Plaza del Callao is located in the Puerta del Sol neighborhood of the Central district of Madrid. Located at the end of Calle del Carmen, divides in two sections the street Preciados and begins the third of the Gran Via that ends in the Plaza de España. The Plaza del Callao, like the second stretch of the Gran Via that ends there, was built between 1917 and 1922, although the final delivery of works was not made until 1927.

Catedral de la Almudena


La Santa Iglesia Catedral Metropolitana de Santa María la Real de la Almudena, conocida simplemente como Catedral de la Almudena, es un templo catedralicio de culto católico, dedicado a la Virgen María bajo la advocación de la Almudena.

La catedral está ubicada en el centro histórico de Madrid; la fachada principal se encuentra frente al Palacio Real. La fachada del crucero mira hacia la calle de Bailén y el acceso a la cripta se realiza por la cuesta de la Vega, al final de la calle Mayor. A diferencia de la mayoría de templos cristianos, de orientación este-oeste, la catedral tiene una orientación norte-sur, fruto de su concepción como parte integrante del conjunto del Palacio Real.

The cathedral is located in the historic center of Madrid; The main facade is opposite the Royal Palace.
