Buscando en la red información sobre este lugar, encuentro en la mejor página que he podido encontrar nunca sobre el Parque del Capricho, y que os mostraré a continuación, esta descripción detallada sobre el embarcadero que se halla en este lugar:

"La ría nos lleva hasta el lago. El lago. Un lugar pensado para el deleite, para el descanso. Un lugar donde el sonido de la fuente y el graznido de los patos constituyen un ambiente de relax inigualable. A través del Puente de Hierro, el más antiguo de los conservados en España, fluye la rumorosa agua, donde se encuentran varios lugares interesantes que iremos viendo al bordearlo. La Duquesa quiso que en su propiedad también hubiera un jardín de tipo anglo-chino, tan de moda en el siglo XVIII y cuyos elementos solían comprender rías y lagos de irregulares bordes con islas en su interior. Lo primero que encontramos, casi colindante con el puente de hierro, es El Embarcadero, construido entre los años 1792 y 1795, llamado Casa de las Cañas, por ser éste el material de que está construido. Su autor, y el de varias otras construcciones del parque, es el escenógrafo italiano Angel María Tadey. Además de servir para guardar los barcos del recinto, contaba con un pequeño pabellón de reposo o comedor abierto hacia el agua."
